SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Mandalay Region and Kachin, Mon States. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below January average temperatures in Yangon Region and Eastern Shan, Kayah States, (3°C) above January average temperature in Kayin State and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) in Hakha, (2°C) each in Namsam and Heho, (3°C) in Pyinoolwin and (4°C) each in Kyaukmae, Pinlaung, Loilin, Mongyang and Mogoke. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded was (0.04) inch in Mogoke.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 24th January, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyawady Regions and Kayah State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
