SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Kachin and Northern Shan States, scattered in Mandalay Region and isolated in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Yangon Regions and Southern Shan, Mon States and weather has been partly cloudy inthe remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) above December average temperatures in Kachin, Kayin, Mon States, (3°C) to (4°C) above December average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Southern Shan State, (5°C) above December average temperatures in Naypyitaw and Northern Shan State and about December average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (1°C) in Hakha, (4°C) each in Namsam and Matupi, (6°C) each in Heho and Tiddim and (7°C) in Tongzan. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.94) inch in Kunglong, (0.71) inch in Thipaw, (0.59) inch in Lashio, (0.51) inch in Kyaukmae, (0.43) inch in Naungcho, (0.39) inch in Muse, (0.35)inch in Chaungsone and (0.20) inch in Kyaukse.
BAY INFERENCE:Weather is partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 24th December, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespresd in Kachin, Northern Shan States, scattered in Mandalay Region and Southern Shan State and isolated in Sagaing Region and Eastern Shan State. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA:Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
