SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Magway, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below December average temperature in Taninthayi Region, (2°C) below December average temperature in Northern Shan State, (2°C) above December average temperatures in Naypyitaw and Kayah Stateand about December average temperaturesin the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (-1°C) in Hakha, (5°C) in Pyinoolwin, (6°C) each in Kyaukmae, Heho, Tiddim and Mogoke and (7°C) each in Putao and Mingin.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloudover the Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 16th December, 2021: Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 -7)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain in Taninthayi Region.
