BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Central Andaman Sea still persists. It is forecast continuously move to West- Northwestwards and further intensify into a depression over Southeast Bay and adjoining East Central Bay of Bengal around (2.12.2021) and into a cyclonic storm over Central Bay of Bengal around (3.12.2021). Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 2nd December, 2021: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudyin Bago Region and Kachin, Rakhine, Kayah States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (4-7) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine State.
