BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the North Bay and Westcentral Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 22nd OCTOBER, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Eastern Shan State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago and Taninthayi Regions, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States, fairly widespread in Yangon Region, Northern Shan and Rakhine States and widespread in Upper Sagaing and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Southern Shan and Chin States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Chin and Rakhine States. Degree of certainly is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8 - 10)feet in along Rakhine Coast and about (4 - 7)feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
