SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy inBago Region and Kayah, Kayin, MonStates. Rain or thundershowers have beenwidespread inUpper Sagaing Region and Eastern Shan State,fairly widespread in Chin State,scattered in Yangon,Ayeyarwady RegionsandKachin, Southern Shan States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amount of rainfallrecorded were(1.30) inches inFalam, (0.97) inchinHtilin, (0.94) inch in Ngathaichaung, (0.79) inch each in Loilin and Mingin, (0.70) inch inKengtung, (0.68) inch in Kalay, (0.63) inch in Namsam, (0.51) inch in Gwa and (0.43) inch in Varr.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal now lies over Southwest Bay and adjoining off Sri Lanka Coast still persists.It is forecast continuous to move Westwards.Weather isa few cloud over the the Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 29thOctober, 2021: Rainor thundershowers will befairly widespread inUpper Sagaing Region and Chin State,scattered in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, TaninthayiRegions and Shan, Rakhine, Kayin, MonStates and isolated in the remaining Regions and States.Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4– 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered to fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Kayin, MonStates.
