BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Central Bay of Bengal now lies over Westcentral Bay and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations at (06:30) hrs MST today, the land depression which is crossing the Upper Vietnam coast has weakened into a low pressure area.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 15th October, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Shan, Chin States, fairly widespread in Magway Region and kachin, Kayah States, widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Magway, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30- 35) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (6– 9) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts..
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States.
