BAY INFERENCE:Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 12th October, 2021:Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Sagaing Region and Kachin, Northern Shan States, scattered in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Chin, Rakhine States, fairly widespread in Ayeyarwady Region and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regionsand States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Magway, and isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35) m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8 – 10) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (5-7) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
