BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations at (18:30) hrs MST today, the tropical depression has crossed to the Upper Vietnam coast near Nam Dinh. It is moving Westwards and forecast to gradually unimportant.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 11th October, 2021:Rain or thundershowers will be isolated Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Northern Shan, Kayin, Mon States, fairly widespread in Magway, Bago and Rakhine State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Magway and Bago Regions. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7 – 9) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (5-7) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
