BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (18:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Northwest Bay and adjoining coastal areas of West Bengal still persists. Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 29th September, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Kachin State, scattered in Mandalay Region and Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Eastern Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and widespread in the remaining regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay, Bago Regions and Rakhine, Mon States.Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about (4– 7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of withdrawal of Southwest monsoon from the Central Myanmar areas.
