BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the depression over Eastcentral Bay and adjoining Northeast Bay of Bengal has moved westwards and it is centered at about (165) Nautical miles Southwest of Sittwe, (250) Nautical miles West-Northwest of Gwa, (280) Nautical miles Northwest of Hainggyigyun(Myanmar), (230) Nautical miles East-Southeast of Paradip and (315) Nautical miles East of Gopalpur(India). Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations at (06:30)hrs MST today, the land Depreession over Thinland has downgraded into wave.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 25th September, 2021:Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Kachin State, scattered in Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Chin Statesand widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Ayeyarwady Region and Rakhine States and isolated heavyfalls in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States.Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9 -12)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
