BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Bay and monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 4th October, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Sagaing, Magway, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin and Northern Shan States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay and Bago Regions, Southern Shan, Chin, Rakhine and Kayah States and widespread in Taninthayi Region, Eastern Shan, Kayin and Mon States with isolated heavy falls in Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions and Mon State. Degree of certainly is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Sea will be slight to moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7-10)feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and (4-6)feet in along Rakhine Coast.
