BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate to strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 29th September, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Shan(North and East)State, scattered in Taninthayi Region, Southern Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Bago Regions and Kachin State and widespread in Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Chin and Rakhine States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Chin and Rakhine States. Degree of certainly is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7-10)feets in Deltaic and along Rakhine Coasts and (4-6)feets in Gulf of Mottama and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
