BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong to vigorus over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak to moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 26th September, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Sagaing and Magway Regions, Kachin and Northern Shan States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw and Mandalay Regions, Shan (East and South), Chin, Rakhine and Kayah States and widespread in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Chin,Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainly is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8-11)feets in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and (4-8)feets in along Rakhine Coast.
