SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been sacttered in Lower Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, isolated in Mandalay and Magway Regions, Shan, Chin and Mon States and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were about May average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Nothern Shan State, (5°C) above May average temperatures in Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and (3°C) to (4°C) above May average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (44°C) each in Chauk and Minbu, (43°C) each in Myingyan, Nyaung Oo and Magway. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Myeik (0.67) inch, Thaton (0.51)inch and Monywa (0.35) inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy in the Southwest Bay and partly cloudy in the Andaman sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 12th May, 2015: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be scattered in Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin and Chin States, isolated in Mandalay and Magway Regions, Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
