BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak to moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 17th September, 2017: scattered in Northern Shan States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions Kachin ,Chin and Kayah States, widespread in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Shan (East and South), Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Upper sagaing, Taninthayi Regions ,and Kachin State. Degree of certainly is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional Squalls with rough seas will be experienced Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40) m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8-11)feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and (4-7)feet in along Rakhine Coast.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States.
