BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, a low pressure area has formed over the Eastcentral Bay of Bengal(off Myanmar coast).It is likely to move towards Bangladesh coast during next (48)hrs. Weather is partly cloudy over the Southwest and Westcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 01st November, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Shan, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Magway, Bago Regions, Kachin, Kayin, Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, off and along Rakhine coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6-9) feet Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts and about (4-7) feet Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin States.
