BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (18:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of North Coastal Andhra Pradesh(India) and South Coastal Odisha has moved Coast Andhra Pradash(India). Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL Evening OF THE 20th August, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions and Shan State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, and Tanithayi Regions, Kachin, Chin and Rakhine States and widespread in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainly is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30) to (35) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (7-10)feet in along Myanmar Coast.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States.
