SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past

(24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Upper Sagaing Region

and Chin State, isolated in Yangon Region, Kachin, Shan and Mon States and

weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

Day temperatures were (3°C) above April average temperatures in Bago, Yangon

and Ayeyarwady Regions, about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions

and States. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) each in Chauk, Minbu,

Aunglan, Kyobinkauk and Bawlakhae. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded

were Kalay (0.43) inch, Katha (0.23) inch, Homalin and Yay  (0.20) inch each.

BAY INFERENCE:  Weather is partly cloudy in the Andaman Sea and South Bay

and generally fair elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 22nd April, 2015: Rain or

thundershowers are likely to be scattered in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin

and Chin States, isolated in  the remaining Regions and States.

Degree of certainty is (60%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of isolated rain

or thundershowers in the Upper Myanmar areas.
