BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak to moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 30th July, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions and Shan (North& East)States, fairly widespread in Kachin, Southern Shan and Kayah States, widespread in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainly is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon -Taninthayi Coast. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40)m.p.h. Seas will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8-10)feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, along Mon - Taninthayi Coast and (5 - 7)feet in along Rakhine Coast.
