BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak to moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 29th July, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kachin, Shan and Kayah States, widespread in Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Chin, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainly is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon -Taninthayi Coast. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40)m.p.h. Seas will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8-10)feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, along Mon - Taninthayi Coast and (5 - 7)feet in along Rakhine Coast.
