BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate to strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 26th July, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, fairly widespread in Shan and Kayah States, widespread in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainly is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon - Taninthayi Coast. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Seas will be moderate to rough elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (10 - 12) feet in Gulf of Mottama, along Mon - Taninthayi Coast and (7 - 9) feet in Deltaic and along Rakhine Coast.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of increase of rain in Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States.
