SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours,rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Mon State, scattered in Magway Region and Southern Shan State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Northern Shan, Kayin States and widespread inthe remaining Regions and Stateswith isolated heavyfalls in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions andRakhine State. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were(4.72) inchesinManaung, (2.95) inchesinKatha, (2.56)inches in Tharrawady, (2.36) inches in Khamionseik, (2.13) inches in Ngathaichaung, (2.10) inchesin Singu,(2.05) inches in Yangon(Botahtaung), (1.89) inches in Labutta, (1.77) inches in Zaungtu, (1.69)inches in Myaungmya, (1.57) inches in Kalewa and (1.50) inches each in Kanbalu and Hpasaung.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
