BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 24th July, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Shan (South and East) and Kayah States and widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States with regionally heavy falls in Rakhine State and isolated heavy falls in Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin State. Degree of certainly is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40)m.p.h. Seas will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (9 - 11) feet in Deltaic and along Rakhine Coast and (6 - 8) feet in Gulf of Mottama and along Mon -Taninthayi Coast.
