.BAY INFERENCE:According to the observations at (06:00)hrs M.S.T today, the depression over northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of coastal Odisha and north Andhra moved northwestwards and has crossed south Odisha coast close to south of Puri.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 19th July, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Kachin State, fairly widespread in Northern Shan State and widespread in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bagon, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Shan (East and South), Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States with likelihood of regionally heavy falls in Lower Saginag, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Chin, Rakhine and Mon States and isolated heavy falls in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin State. Degree of certainly is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coast. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9 - 14) feet along Myanmar Coast.
