BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 15th July, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Kachin State and widespread in Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainly is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coast. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40) m.p.h. Seas will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8 - 12) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon- Taninthayi Coast and (5 - 8) feet in Rakhine Coast.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Bago,Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States.
