BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 5^th July, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing Region, scattered in Mandalay and Magway Regions, fairly widespread in (Northern and Southern)Shan State and widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Eastern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States with likelihood of regionally heavy falls in Rakhine and Mon States and isolated heavy falls in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Chin and Kayin States. Degree of certainly is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coast. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (6 - 9) feet in along Myanmar Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:  Continuation of increase of rain in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States.
