BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 22nd June, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Mandalay Region, Shan (North and East) State, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Southern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States with likelihood of regionally heavy falls in Rakhine State and isolated heavy falls in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Magway and Yangon Regions, Kachin and Mon States. Degree of certainly is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35) m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6 - 9) feet in Deltaic and along Rakhine Costs, about (4 - 6) feet in Gulf of Mottama and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
