BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 16th June, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing, Magway and Taninthayi Regions, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region, Kayah State, widespread in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States with likelihood of regionally heavy falls in Rakhine State and isolated heavy falls in Naypyitaw, Bago Region and Chin state. Degree of certainly is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) m.p.h. Seas will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8 - 10) feet in Deltaic and Rakhine Coasts and (4 - 6) feet in Gulf of Mottama and Mon - Taninthayi Coasts.
