SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers has been fairly widespread in Chin State, scattered in Yangon Region, isolated in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Mon State and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Yangon Region. Night temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) above November average temperatures in Bago Region, Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine and Mon States, (2°C) above November average temperatures in Upper Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Southern Shan, Kayah and Kayin States and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperature were (11°C) each in Heho and Tongzan. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Northern Dagon (5.71)inches, Central Yangon (2.56)inches and Falam (0.63)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 19th NOVEMBER, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States, isolated in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Chin and Kayah States. Degree of certainly is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 6) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
