BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (11:00) hrs M.S.T today, the depression over North Bay of Bengal has crossed to the Bangladesh coasts. Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and strong to vigorous elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 13th June, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin and Rakhine States, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States with likelihood of regionally heavy falls in Chin and Rakhine States and isolated heavy falls in Naypyitaw, Upper sagaing, Magway and Ayeyarwady Regions. Degree of certainly is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) m.p.h. Seas will be moderate to strong elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (10 - 14) feet in Deltaic, Galf of Mottama and Rakhine Coasts and (6 - 10) feet in Mon - Taninthayi Coasts.
