SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain has been isolated in Taninthayi Region, weather has been generally fair in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, Chin and Rakhine States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) above January average temperatures in Mandalay and Ayeyarwady Regions, (Eastern & Southern)Shan and Kayah States, (5°C) above January average temperatures in Bago Region, Kayin and Mon States and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (-2°C) in Hakha, (3°C) in Ramthlo, (4°C) in Putao, (5°C) each in Heho and Tiddim.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 12^th January, 2019: Rain will be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Mon State. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin and Kayin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts. 

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of light rain in Taninthayi Region.
