SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers has been widespread in Taninthayi Region and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Southern Shan State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, isolated in Bago Region and Mon State and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below November average temperatures in Kachin and Northern Shan States, (3°C) to (4°C) above November average temperatures in Bago Region, Southern Shan, Chin, Kayah and Mon States, (2°C) above November average temperatures in Mandalay Region and Rakhine State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (10°C) each in Thipaw and Tongzan. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Myeik (1.85)inches, Taunggyi (1.57)inches, Heho and Yay (1.30) inches each, Dawei (1.03)inches, Loikaw (0.98)inch and Zalun (0.94)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30) MST today, the low pressure area over West central Bay of Bengal and adjoining Southwest Bay has further intensified into the depression and its centered at about (160) miles South of Visakhaptanam and (130) miles Southeast of (Machilipatnam).It moved initially Northwards and it is forecast to move North-Northeastwards and weaken gradually thereafter. Weather is cloudy over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 16thNOVEMBER, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Bago Regions, Shan and Rakhine States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainly is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5 - 7) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered rain or thundershowers in Sagaing Region, Kachin, Chin and Rakhine States.
