BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (15:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Southeast Bay and adjoining Central Bay of Bengal still persist. Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 26th May, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States, fairly widespread in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Shan and Kayah States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainly is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar water.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Taninthayi Region and Mon State.
