SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Eastern Shan State, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Lower Sagaing Region and Southern Shan State, fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State, scattered in Mandalay and Magway Regions, Northern Shan and Chin States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Mandalay Region and isolated heavy falls in Magway Region. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Saw (4.40)inches, Singu (2.98)inches, Myittha (2.00)inches, Pinlaung (1.38)inches, Bhamo (0.94)inch, Nyaung Shwe and Zalun (0.91)inch each and Kyaukphyu (0.86)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 7th October, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in (Northern and Southern)Shan State, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (2 - 5)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
