26-12-2024:According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Southwest Bay of Bengal(off South Andhra Pradesh-North Tamil Nadu Coasts, India) still persists. It is likely to weaken gradually into a Low Pressure Area during next 24 hours. Weather is partly cloudy over the Westcentral and Southwest Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay. Weather is a few clouds over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 25th May, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread inTaninthayi Region, fairly widespread in Bago, Yangon Regions and Mon State, scattered in Ayeyarwady Region, Northern Shan and  Kachin States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainly is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of thundery activities in the Deltaic areas.
