26-12-2024:According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Southwest Bay of Bengal(off South Andhra Pradesh-North Tamil Nadu Coasts, India) still persists. It is likely to weaken gradually into a Low Pressure Area during next 24 hours. Weather is partly cloudy over the Westcentral and Southwest Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the southwest Bay and East Central Bay and partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 22nd May, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Shan and Chin States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States.. Degree of certainly is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of thundery activities in the Deltaic areas.
