BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and weather is partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 20^th May, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Mon State, scattered in Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Rakhine and Kayin States, isolated in Naypyita Upper Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Shan (East and South), Chin and Kayah States. Degree of certainly is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35) m.p.h.  Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar water.
