BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 25th AUGUST, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Mandalay and Magway Regions, Northern Shan, Chin and Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with  isolated heavy falls in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Rakhine,  Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8-10)feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Strong monsoon.
