SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Kayah State, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Mandalay, Magway and Bago Regions, Kayin and Mon States, fairly widespread in Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan and Rakhine States and widespread  in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Taninthayi Region and isolated heavy falls in Sagaing and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin State. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Dawei (5.39)inches, Putao (5.00)inches, Madaya (4.53)inches, Kalaywa (3.78)inches, Launglone  (3.70)inches, Hainggyi (3.31)inches, Mawlaik  (2.95)inches, Yay (2.28)inches, Coco Island (2.17)inches, Kyauktaw (1.85)inches, Hmawbi (1.81)inches and Kanbalu (1.57)inches.                                             

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak in the North Bay and moderate to strong in the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 11th August, 2015: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Kayah State, scattered in Mandalay, Magway Regions, fairly widespread in Bago Region, Shan, Rakhine and Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough sea are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon - Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35) m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in the Southern Myanmar areas.
