SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain has been isolated in Kachin State. Weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon, Eastern Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 3°C below February average temperatures in Kachin, Rakhine States, 2°C below February average temperatures in Mandalay Region and Chin, Southern Shan States and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 2.0°C in Hakha, 3.3°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 3.4°C in Heho, 4.5°C in Mongyang, 5.7°C each in Pyinoolwin and Loilin, 6.7°C in Putao, 7.0°C in Pinlaung, 7.5°C in Tiddim, 9.0°C in Myitkyina and 9.5°C in Mingin.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay, a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and Central Bay and generally fair over the North Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 19th February 2025: Rain will be scattered in Kachin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be partly cloudy in Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State.
