SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, isolated in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions and Northern Shan State and weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Ayeyarwady Region and Kayah State, partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) above March average temperatures in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay and Bago Regions, Kachin, Chin, Kayin and Mon States and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (41°C) in Chauk, (40°C) each in Pyinmana, Aunglan, Taungdwingyi, Pyay, Phyu, Hinthada, Bawlakhae and Theinzayet. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Myeik (1.14)inches, Dawei (0.52)inch and Launglon (0.16)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Southwest Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 27th MARCH, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State, isolated in Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Shan, Chin, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainly is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5)feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
