28-11-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka Coast has moved North- Northwestwards and is crossing near Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is centered at about 805 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 225 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India). It is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards and across eastern parts of Sri Lanka Coast and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal and reach over the North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India.  Weather is a generally fair over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Bay of Bengal Condition

A Low Pressure Area may form over the Andaman sea and South Bay of Bengal. Weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Rain Condition and Rainy Day

Below normal rain are likely in Kachin State and about normal in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi  Regions, Shan, Chin, Rakhine Kayah, Kayin and Mon States.

Rainy days are expected about (4) to (6) days in in Taninthayi Regions,  Kachin, Kayin and Mon States and about (1) to (3) days in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and Shan,  Chin, Rakhine and Kayah States.

Night Temperature

Night Temperature will be (1.5 °C) above normal temperature of February in Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions and Mon State and  about normal in  Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway,Bago Regions, Kachin,  Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah and Kayin  States.

Fog Condition

Foggy days will be expected about (15) to (22) days in Upper Sagaing  and Taninthayi Region, Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine,Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and about (7) to (14) days in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Regions, (Eastern and Southern) Shan States.
