23-11-2024: According to the observations at (12:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area has formed over East Equatorial India Ocean and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression over South Bay of Bengal around 25-11-2024. Thereafter, its likely to move Northwestwards and may reach to Tamil Nadu(India)-Sri Lanka coasts during next 2 days. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Bay of Bengal Condition

Two Low Pressure Area may form over the Bay of Bengal and one may further intensify into a depression. Monsoon will be Moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Rain Conditions and Rainy Days

Rain will be expected below normal in Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwaddy Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and about normal in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Tanintharyi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Kayah States.

Rainy days will be expected 9 to 14 days in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions, 15 to 20 days in Naypyitaw, Shan, Chin, Kayah States and 21 to 26 days in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwaddy, Tanintharyi Regions and Kachin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
