22-12-2024: According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Westcentral Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Southwestwards and reach to Southwest Bay of Bengal(North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh Coasts)India during 24-12-2024. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal partly and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

According to the observations at (12:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay and adjoining West Bengal, India and Bangladesh reached to South Bangladesh. It is likely to move north-northwestwards and may further intensify into a well marked low pressure area over Bangladesh and adjoining Gangetic West Bengal, India during next 36 hours. Thereafter, it is likely to move west-northwestwards and may cross Gangetic West Bengal and Jharkhand, India.
