23-10-2025: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked low pressure area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal (off Tamil Nadu coast, India) has moved Northwestwards and crossed North Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and weakened into a Low pressure area during next 24 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

  1. According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Northeast Bay and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal now lies over North Bay of Bengal. It is likely to move Northwestwards and may further intensify into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area during next (36)hours there after it may reach to North Odisha and adjoining West Bengal Coasts, India.
  2. General caution

Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8-11) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts from commencing morning today to (3.10.2023).

  1. Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread to widespread in the coastal areas with regionally and isolated heavy falls in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States from commencing morning today to (3.10.2023).
