Low Pressure Area Condition

- According to the observations at (12:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northeast Bay and adjoining Eastcentral Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move Northwestwards and may further intensify into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area during next (48)hours there after it may reach to North Odisha and adjoining West Bengal Coasts, India.
- General caution
Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8-11) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts from commencing noon today to (3.10.2023).
- Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread to widespread in the coastal areas with regionally and isolated heavy falls in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States from commencing noon today to (3.10.2023).
