25-5-2024:According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the depression over Eastcentral Bay of Bengal has moved North-Northeastwards and is centered at about (285) Nautical miles West-Northwest of Coco Island, (295) Nautical miles West-Northwest of Hainggyigyun, (305) Nautical miles West-Southwest of Thandwe (Myanmar), (285) Nautical miles Southwest of Sittwe (Myanmar), (315) Nautical miles South of Khepupara (Bangladesh), (300) Nautical miles South-Southeast of Sagar Island and (330) Nautical miles South of Canning (West Bangal, India). Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

According to the observations at (13:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Northwest Bay and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal off south Odisha-north Andhra Pradesh coasts(India) still persists. It is likely to move nearly Westwards and cross south Odisha and south Chhattisgarh during next (24)hours.
