Low Pressure Area Condition

According to the observations at (17:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Low Pressure Area over Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwest wards and gradually intensify into a Depression over South Bay of Bengal during next (48) hours. It is likely to reach North Tamilnadu-Puducherry and South Andhra Pradesh coasts (India) around (23.11.2022).
General caution
Due to the low pressure area, rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread to widespread in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and isloated to scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago Regions and Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine States from today evening to (20.11.2022). Squall with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (35) mph. Wave height will be about (8-10) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
