Low Pressure Area
According to the observations at (09:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over the Northwest Bay of Bengal (close to North Odisha Coast, India) has moved Northeastwards and weaken into the Low Pressure Area over the Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal, India and Bangladesh coasts and it is forecast continue to move Northeastwards.
General caution
Due to the Low Pressure Area, rain or thundershowers will be isolated to scattered in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine States during next (48) hrs and squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (7– 9) feet Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts.
